Nationwide Tutoring Service WyzAnt Enables Users to Find Tutoring Jobs on Twitter

WyzAnt, a nationwide tutor-student matching service, recently added the ability for users to find local tutoring jobs on Twitter. Previously, WyzAnt's presence on Twitter focused on engaging users in a dialogue about education and teaching. With this new feature, users will also be able to receive real-time updates about new tutoring opportunities in their area.

"Publishing local tutoring job opportunities on Twitter provides our users with another way to get the most out of the WyzAnt tutor-student matching system."
The WyzAnt system allows students and parents to find qualified tutors and arrange for home tutoring lessons. In order to facilitate this process, WyzAnt offers a host of technology tools for tutors to explore as they build out their presence on the site and work with more local students.
"Tutors can add videos to their profiles, receive custom text messages about new opportunities, and even blog on the site about their interest in education and preferred methods of tutoring," Weishuhn said. "While we recognize that not all features are for everyone, we hope that these features create a better user experience and allow the tutors to focus on teaching."
With 20,000 tutors nationwide and 500 followers on Twitter, this new feature promises to provide a valuable service to this growing network of tutors and students.
